What Beginning iPhone Users Need To Know To Save Money Every Month

If you have recently purchased an iPhone you may be amazed at how expensive they can be. There is more than just the basic monthly bills. You may be paying to customize your phone using expensive ring tones, wallpapers and applications. However, there is a way to break free from all of these charges.

The key is unlocking your iPhone. All handsets, regardless of the model that you use, have firmware which governs the phone’s operation. When you sign on with a particular carrier, that company restricts your phone from working on any other network. You can borrow other towers but your primary service provider will remain the same. Unlocking (also called jailbreaking) changes this.

The process is simple. If you use software from iPhone Unlocking Solutions you will discover a world of benefits. Millions of people have used this company to free them from high monthly fees and experienced other benefits such as free wallpapers, ring tones and games. As well, you get free SMS messaging, free calling to numbers beginning with 08 and even free mobile tethering which can save you quite a bit each month. When you start to see how much you can save from these things alone you will be amazed that you did not think to do this sooner.

The process is fast and easy. All it takes is you to download the software to your computer and upload it to your phone. Within minutes the phone is unlocked and you are free to pick the carrier you want to use. The good thing is that the company offers a money back guarantee and also has a tech support department to help you if you have any questions or issues. The company offers many different unlocking solutions that will even work with the new version 3.1.2 firmware. This applies to both iPhone 3G and 3Gs handsets.

The decision to save money and enjoy greater freedom is up to you. By Unlocking iPhone 3G 3.1.2 or Unlocking iPhone 3Gs 3.1.2 you can start saving so check them out before you spend money you don’t need to spend.

When you first get your iPhone the first thing that you are probably going to try to figure out is which Bluetooth Headset you want and need to buy in order to enjoy all the features that you iPhone has to offer. One of the things that you need to remember is that you are going to need a headset model that is compatible with the specific model of your iPhone. This is easily determined by looking at the package that the headset comes in as this information is clearly listed on the package.

If you are going to use that Bluetooth headset for more than just carrying on conversation hands-free you are going to need to have a headset that will work as both a headset for conversations as well as headphones that will allow you to listen to your favorite radio station or music selections in private. Something that you might want to seriously take into account is this: if you intend on getting a Bluetooth headset that is for voice conversations and a set of stereo headphones so that you can listen to your music in private you are going to need to get a headphone splitter that will allow you to have both connected at once.

This is why some people think that it is too blasted confusing trying to choose a good Bluetooth headset for their iPhone. The main thing they need to remember are pretty simple to remember: look on the package or details to see which models of iPhone the headset is compatible with.

  • It seems that everywhere you look you are going to find ads and commercials for the many accessories that you can buy for your iPhone. This is just something that you cannot possibly get away from no matter where you look or how hard you try. The question that many people have about all the different accessories that are already available as well as those that that are coming out soon is this: do we really, really need all of these iPhone accessories anyway? There are so many people out there that will simply say that we do actually need all of the choices of accessories available to us.

Yet you are going to find out that there are many people out there that simply do not care about this subject because they either do not own an iPhone or never intend to buy one because they are happier with the mobile phone that they already have. No, there is no doubt about it; this is something that will continue to be talked about, argued about and discussed for quite some time to come.

When you really stop to think about the different accessories you see that you consider well worth it to have, which ones would you come up with? For most people the answers would be pretty simple: a sturdy Carrying Case that will take whatever you dish out; a Battery Charger/ Power Adapter to keep the battery charged and a Bluetooth Headset so that they can listen to their music as well as talk easily.

How many times have you heard people grumbling or complaining, or just simply commenting that they really cannot choose just one accessory for their iPhone and categorize that as a must-have accessory? If this is something that you have heard mant times before from fellow iPhone users and/or have found yourself saying at times you certainly are not alone in this matter people! When you really stop to think about just how many different accessories there currently are out on the market, and more coming everyday it seems, is it any wonder why people often do have a difficult time choosing?

There are too many different accessories out there it seems; or is it that there are simply too many different variations of several basic iPhone accessories? Do you realize that the answer to both parts of the previous question is yes? Yes, there are too many different accessories out there; and yes, there are also many different variations on the most basic accessories out on the market today. If this has you scratching your head even more than you already were you are not alone in that either folks.

As was once said in a Star Trek movie by Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott “The more they over-think the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.” What this means in reference to our topic is that the more accessories for and versions of the iPhone that Apple, Motorola and other companies come up with; the more confusing things have gotten and will get.

  • You know something, there is a great deal being made of the many different types of iPhone carrying cases that are out on the market lately. The question that some people are probably asking is this: what is the big deal about any iPhone carrying case and what difference does it make which type you choose? To many people the type and style of iPhone carrying case they have really does make all the difference in the world; not only to them but to their iPhone. IF you are the type of person that needs to have a very tough carrying case for your iphone because you are tough on the poor thing, you really don’t want a simple leather one.

But, then again; you might be able to get a leather case that is as tough as one of the plastic and metal carrying cases that you might think are the only choice you should make. There are so blessed many different types, models and designs of iPhone carrying cases that you are probably going to end up sitting there for a little while looking through all the descriptions, models and prices before you are able to decide on one over the others.

You might be thinking that a carrying case is nothing more than that; something to carry your iPhone in so you know where it is at all times and choose to leave it at that. Others say that there is much more to this; that the particular iPhone carrying case says much more than that.

  • Hey out there; are you one of those people that is having the dickens of a hard time trying to figure out which of the many different types of power adapters will be the right one for the particular type of iPhone that you have and the settings that you have as well. One thing that we can tell you is that there are many different types of power adapters that serve very different purposes and no two are ever the same, unless they are actually the same model of power adapter. Something that may have many people perplexed is this: why do you actually even need a Power Adapter when the battery charger that came with your iPhone should be good enough for you.

The one thing that you all need to understand about the difference is that a Battery Charger does only that; recharges the battery of your iPhone. In contrast a Power Adapter is actually much more than a simple battery charger. Yes, it does plug into the wall so that you can recharge the battery of your iPhone when the battery runs down. However, it also allows you to connect you iPod to your iPhone and/or connect either of these to your home computer in order to sync your music on your iPod or to add something to either one of these devices.

This is part of the reason that choosing the right type of power adapter for your iPhone is not always as easy as it seems to be.

Nike+ workout system soon in your iPhone

Nike has yet to announced it formally, but multiple sources online revealed that the sporting company and Apple are already in the final stages of brining the Nike+ system to the iPhone and iPod touch.

nike-iphone-nike.jpgNike+ is a special kit that will record the distance and length of a walk or run through a little sensor in your shoe. Nike+ was originally made for iPod nano but a Nike insider said the system will be modified to support the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

While no one from Nike and Apple would confirm the reports, bringing the Nike+ to the iPhone would be in the best interest of Nike considering the popularity of the iPhone (that is if Nike wants to remain competitive in the industry).

Nike+ will surely work well with iPhone, especially when the 3G handset will be released, and anyone can easily update his profile online using the mobile phone. (more…)

bd-touch-apple-iphone.jpgApple’s iPhone is not just a phone. It can also be a remote control for your Blue-ray devices, including Sony Corporation’s Playstation 3, as announced by NetBlender.

NetBlender announced a new Blu-ray Disc technology that allows iPhones and iPod Touch devices to interact with content on a Blu-ray disc. Called “BD Touch”, the technology leverages the network connection built into Blu-ray players and the WiFi connection on the iPhone to create two-way communication between the devices. Video, audio, text, and player commands can be transferred via the connection.

“Having spent the past decade building interactive video products we are thrilled to bring together two of the most interactive consumer products ever created with BD Touch,” said John Harrington, NetBlender CEO. “We began R&D on integrating the two devices right after I experienced the iPhone Multi-Touch interface for the first time.”

BD Touch connects the 10 foot experience of the large screen home theater with the mobile experience offered by the iPhone. The sophisticated UI of the iPhone enables unprecedented user interaction when compared to any other handheld device. BD Touch applications can take advantage of the iPhone’s geo location features, 3D sensors and QWERTY keyboard. BD Touch features will work on any BD Live-enabled Blu-ray Disc player such as the PlayStation 3. (more…)
