The Unlock The iPhone website revealed that this latest 3.0.1 iphone version has a fix for many bugs that were prevelant when iPhone 3.0 came out. The main fix in this update is a vulnerability in the iPhone SMS text messaging service.

The testing staff of the Unlock team has confirmed that the new software does indeed unlcok the latest 3.0.1 version on their own 3GS iPhone. The unlocking procedure, they said, is simplier and easier.
