Apple is reportedly preparing for an iPhone with higher storage capabilities, reaching up to 32 gigabytes, PCWorld reports. The iPhone maker has ordered huge amount of flash memory that are capable for producing at least 16 gigabytes of storage space.

Apple, however, remains mum on how it will use its order of 100 million chips although talks are ripe that it will be used to launch a new model of iPhone, not the Nano, but a more expensive unit.
