ZTE unveils another iPhone clone

China’s telecommunication giant, ZTE Corporation, is reportedly joining the smartphone wave by introducing its mobile phone “Blue Balance” in 2009.

Although critics said the ZTE Blue Balance phone is more of an iPhone clone than a unique smartphone, ZTE Corporation has remained mum on the release of its mobile phone unit but observers noted a preview of the mobile phone during the AfricaCom conference in Africa. (more…)

CNN.com reports that a banker who quit his job after receiving $250,000 for a game he developed for iPhone. Steve Demeter used his free time (nights and weekends) to develop “Trism”.

He posted the game for iPhone and sells it for $4.99. Now he has his own development firm with paid staff and five more games for iPhone in development.
