Yes. And you thought Google Earth is good only for your PC and laptop? No way. I mean, there’s no way that Apple will stop looking for applications that will entice more mobile phone lovers to its iPhone.

Google Earth is now on the iPhone.

I was surprised to see a mobile phone store in a huge mall in Cebu that offers to unlock Apple’s iPhone handset. Surprised because the iPhone is locked to Globe users only and unlocking it is very illegal. But the shop displays a huge board with the announcement “We unlock iPhone here”.

What is Globe doing about this? With the number of shops that offer iPhone unlocking, the Philippine mobile network can no longer claim exclusivity in the iPhone because even Smart users are now brandishing the new iPhone.

Or maybe it’s about time that the iPhone becomes available to all networks in the Philippines
